Midweek Roundup 24-27th May

IBV won 3-0 over Haukar in Úrvalsdeild. Matt Garner scored the opening goal of the game and James Hurst was alongside him in defence.

Kenny Pavey played as current holders AIK beat Östers 3-1 after extra time in the Svenska Cupen.

MyPa drew 2-2 with TPS in Veikkausliiga. Ben Webster didn’t play for MyPa, Robert Milsom started and Chris Cleaver came on for TPS.

TPS beat Jaro 3-0 in the Suomen Cup. MyPa lost 1-0 to VPS in the same competition

Now time for an apology as we made a mistake in a previous roundup, this week was the last in the Indian season. Mahindra United finished off with a 2-1 win over JCT. David Booth’s men end the season in 4th in the I-League.

Patrick Sisupalan played as Viva Kerala got a 1-1 draw at East Bengal. Viva Kerala have a final I-League position of 10th.

Fram got a 2-2 draw in their in Úrvalsdeild match at Fylkir. Sam Tillen played the full game while Joe Tillen came on after 57 minutes.

Balestier Khalsa beat Geylang United 2-1 in the Singapore Cup round of 16. Daniel Hammond played in the centre of defence.

Valur won 2-1 at Grindavik in Úrvalsdeild with Ian Jeffs being an unused substitute.

GAIS won 2-1 after extra time against GIF in the Svenska Cupen. Kyle Patterson came on as a second half substitute.

Gary Smith’s Colorado Rapids lost 3-0 to New York Red Bulls in the US Open Cup.

Molde lost 3-1 at Kongsvinger in Tippeligaen with Ben Amos only getting a place on the bench.
