Midweek Roundup 26-29th April

Matt Derbyshire came on at the start of the second half but Olympiacos lost unluckily 2-0 to Aris. Derbyshire had a great 30 yard effort tipped on to the bar and Olympiacos had a goal ruled out for outside; both chances when the score was 1-0. Due to the four points they had coming in Olympiacos are 2nd in the Champions League playoff group .

James Keene came on as a late sub in Elfsborg’s 1-0 home win over Brommapojkarna. Elfsborg are 3rd in the Allsvenskan table, but quite a way back from the early front runners.

David Booth’s Mahindra United drew 1-1 with Pune FC so now can’t win the I-League. Mahindra are currently 2nd and will have to have a good end to the season to make sure they finish in runners up spot.

Ben Amos played as Molde lost 3-2 to table toppers Tromsø. Tromsø have their keeper to thank for this win as he made a string of excellent saves to limit MFK to two goals. Molde are 12th in Tippeligaen with eight points from eight games.

Kyle Patterson is an unused sub as GAIS won 2-0 at Häcken. GAIS are 6th in Allsvenskan with fourteen points.

TPS beat Honka 1-0 in Finland to stay unbeaten from the first two games of the season. Ben Milsom started in midfield and defender Chris Cleaver came on in the second half.

AIK continued their disappointing form, going down to an all be it likely loss at leaders Helsingborg 1-0. Kenny Pavey played the full game as usual. AIK slip back down to 15th in Allsvenskan.
