Midweek Roundup 3rd-6th May

Young Boys scored an injury time winner against St. Gallen for the game to finish 2-1. Scott Sutter was still out due to injury. Young Boys are top of the Super League, three points ahead with two games to go.

Daniel Hammond played at centre back as Balestier Khalsa were unlucky to lose 3-2 to leader leaders Tampines Rovers. Balestier were 2-0 down but managed to pull the game back to 2-2, only for Tampines to score a winner with four minutes to go. Balestier Khalsa are 9th in the S-League.

GAIS played out a 0-0 stalemate with Helsingborg on Monday; Kyle Patterson was on the bench but didn’t come on.

GAIS also played on Thursday, drawing 1-1 at Djurgården. Both Calum Angus and Kyle Patterson were unused substitutes. GAIS are 5th in Allsvenskan after eleven games.

Mark Miller’s Hibernians lost 1-0 to Tarxien Rainbows in the last league game of the Maltese season. Hibernians finish in 6th in the Championship Group of the Maltese Premier League.

Real Zaragoza beat Espanyol 1-0 without Jermaine Pennant being involved. Zaragoza are 14th in La Liga and only need a point to secure top flight status.

Anthony Elding and Sam Stockley started as Ferencváros lost 2-1 at Győr. Craig Short’s side slip to 9th in NB I.

MyPa drew 1-1 versus hosts Tampere United; Ben Webster wasn’t in squad. MyPa are 12th in Veikkausliiga after three games.

Mahindra United lost 3-2 at SC Goa. David Booth’s side are currently 2nd in the I-League but it looks likely they will finish slightly lower.

Gary Smith’s Colorado Rapids lost 1-0 to still unbeaten LA Galaxy. Los Angeles obviously remain top of the Western Conference and Colorado are nine points behind in 4th.

Viva Kerala beat Shillong Lajong FC 2-1 with Sisupalan playing in midfield. Viva Kerala are 9th in the I-League.

Mark Howard played as AGF lost 2-1 to Sonderjyske. AGF go back into the relegation zone in SAS Ligaen and are two points from safety.

DVTK lost 1-0 to Nyiregyhaza in a game they really needed to win to help their hopes of survival. Rohan Ricketts didn’t play for the Hungarian side. DVTK are bottom of NB I, nine points from safety.

Kansas City Wizards lost 2-1 on their trip to DC United. Ryan Smith played 90 minutes and Craig Rocastle came on as a late substitute. Kansas City are 4th in the Eastern Conference.

Elfsborg drew 2-2 against visiting Malmö with James Keene coming on for the last quarter of the game. Elfsborg slip to 4th in Allsvenskan.

Molde won 2-1 over visiting Aalesunds, Ben Amos on the bench for the second game in a row. Molde move up to 11th in Tippeligaen, currently having twelve points.

Interblock went down to a heavy 6-1 defeat to Gorica, Jamie Sheldon didn’t play. Interblock remain in 9th in PrvaLiga.

AIK went down to a heavy defeat, losing 4-0 at IFK Göteborg. Kenny Pavey didn’t play in the game. The result means AIK slip to the bottom of Allsvenskan.
