Craig Short has been announced as the new manager of League One side Notts County. Short had been manager of Hungarian side Ferencváros before being appointed the successor to Steve Cotterill.
The move represents a return to Meadow Lane as Craig played for the midlands club in the early stages of his playing career. He made 128 league appearances in three years for the Magpies before moving to Derby for £2.5 million in 1992.
Notts County go into League One as current champions of League Two but have financial troubles to deal with after the fallout of the Munto Finance reign as owners.
